ECap

ECap is a program for Windows laptops and desktops. The purpose of the utility is to provide the ability to capture and record images from a connected webcam. There is localization into Russian. The application supports working with any webcams from all manufacturers.

Getting Started

In order for the utility to perform its functions, the user must connect the webcam to his device, as well as download drivers for the correct functioning of the equipment. Then the user will be able to use the features available in the application.

Functionality

The main task of this computer utility is to capture and further record video through connected equipment. It is possible to shoot both video clips and photos. To control the available functions, you can use the toolbar, which is located in the upper part of the interface. Once a person activates the start of recording, the utility will start displaying some information. This includes the total number of frames and the duration of the video clip. An interesting feature of the program is the ability to create photos without stopping the video recording process. When the user finishes shooting a video, it will be immediately saved on a computer or laptop as a file with WMV extension. The BMP format is used for images. The user can go to the parameters of the computer utility to change the storage location of finished videos and images.
