AParted

ARarted is an application with which you can realize the creation of partitions and subdivisions on your SD card. The program is absolutely free and will help to make it easier to find files in your android system.

Functionality

This application has a wide range of options for working with the file system.Each user has access to the following functions:

• format SD card;
• use the memory card memory as a swap file, which will help RAM "unload" some programs included in the background;
• the ability to create and delete file system partitions that already exist.

The number of file systems that the AParted application supports: FAT16/32, NTFS, SWAP and EXT2/3/4. Before you start working with the application, you should copy all the files you have on your SD card to any USB drive or hard disk. Copying files to independent media should be done so that if your current files are corrupted or accidentally deleted, they will be safe and all of them will be on some drive.

Requirements

To start working with the app you need to fulfill some conditions. First of all, you need to have ROOT on your device, even if you have not yet obtained superuser rights, the application will do it for you. The next prerequisite is to download the Busybox software. The AParted program must be installed not on your memory card, with which the program will interact, but on the built-in memory of your Android system, otherwise, if you install the application on the SD-card, it will not work. Before you start working with the AParted program you should disconnect the memory card, not remove it from the device. If you remove the SD-card from your Android device, the application will not work, because AParted works only with file partitions on memory cards, the application does not work with internal memory.
