MidJourney is a Windows application for generating high-quality images based on a user-provided text description. A popular neural network is used to create graphics. In the text you can immediately specify technical parameters, including the level of detail and resolution. The created image can be published on an official open-access resource.

Getting started

For authorization, the platform is used Discord you need to have an account and confirm its use in the program. Then you need to click the Join the beta link on the main page and select a channel to connect.

Generation

To create a new image, the /imagine construct is used. You can enter it manually or select the necessary item in the chat menu. The next step is to enter a description, only English is supported. It is possible to specify the aspect ratio, width and length. It is also possible to specify the style of the image, for example, drawing with a pencil, paints and so on. After sending the command, you should wait for a response with an image.

Art processing

The generation process usually takes a few minutes. The platform provides several image variants. They are presented as a set of low-resolution elements and allow you to familiarize yourself with the results. To download the full version, you need to select a variant from the list. The picture can be saved in your personal account or shared with friends. By default, a free version with a limited number of generations is installed. To remove the limitation, you need to choose a suitable tariff and pay the appropriate amount. A set of recommendations on text generation can be found in the help section.
