Octave

Octave is an advanced Windows program designed to generate graphs and perform mathematical calculations. The utility allows users to perform operations of any complexity. There are reference materials to help you understand the capabilities of the built-in editor. The application has a Russian-language localization. There is support for working with the programming language called MATLAB.

Mathematical operations

After opening the computer utility, the user will see a Russian-language interface consisting of several windows. In the left half the user will find the area for working with the program code. In the same part of the screen there are two more windows. One shows the archive with the performed operations. The other one is reserved for the file manager. If the user does not know how to work with the utility, there are reference materials in the right half of the interface. They can be hidden by changing the tab to the editor or command window. With the help of the utility, the user can perform both the simplest operations, including division and addition, and more complex ones. For example, a person can calculate trigonometric functions, calculate logarithms, raise numbers to a degree and much more. Among other things, the user is able to work with complex numbers. Available in the program toolkit makes it possible to form a variety of graphs. Thanks to this, the user can visualize the inverse function, one-to-one correspondence and so on.

Optional

The application supports the addition of third-party plugins. This allows you to expand the functionality available in the editor due to new options. In addition, the program allows you to perform parallel calculations.
