Vpings

Vpings is a free Windows utility that allows you to set a video clip as a screensaver. The user is allowed to upload files in various extensions, including FLV, MP4 and MKV. There is also a built-in collection of videos. Three playback methods are implemented. The application works correctly with multiple displays.

Wallpaper selection

With the help of the program, a person is able to replace static wallpapers with animated ones. In this case, the user is given access to the built-in library with a variety of videos that can be put on the desktop. However, if desired, a person can upload their own videos to the application. The computer utility is compatible with the following extensions:

• FLV;
• MKV;
• MOV;
• AVI;
• MP4;
• WMV.

An important advantage of the program is that it supports working with multiple displays. Also in the application parameters you can change the audio volume or completely remove audio playback.

Display methods

The utility is able to play screensavers in different ways. Among them:

• List - this method implies a sequential display of video materials from a specified folder;
• Shuffle - this mode is similar to the previous one, but after its activation, the videos are shown in random order;
• Single is the standard method, which implies repeated playback of the video specified by the user.

When selecting the first two methods, a person will need to create a separate folder for videos.

Advanced

The application provides the ability to quickly minimize active utilities using the mouse button selected by the user. There is also an option to quickly turn on a particular program.
