nPerf

nPerf is an Android app that is designed to test and evaluate the quality of your network connection, allowing you to determine latency, surfing parameters and streaming quality.

Testing

The main purpose of nPerf is to conduct tests on the speed and quality of your network connection. This application is capable of testing a wide range of parameters including:

• 2G to 5G connection speeds;
• mobile, Ethernet and Wi-Fi networks;
• different types of LTE and LTE Advanced networks, including dual-band and more.

You can choose from three main parameters to test, which are connection speed test, surfing and YouTube video streaming evaluation. Users can also select and run each test individually. These tests cover both incoming and outgoing connection speeds, and the results are saved in history with the location of the tests.

Additional features

An interactive coverage map is included, showing connection speeds. It is possible to compare test results with those of other users. Real-time monitoring of connection speeds, with data displayed in the status panel.

Requirements

To use the nPerf application, you will need to grant permission to access the internal memory of your device and the device ID. Registration in the app is possible but not required by default. It adds the ability to create a profile and save test results to the cloud. Purchasing a premium account disables advertising and removes limitations on the number of tests you can save.
