Gecko VPN

Gecko VPN is an application for Android devices to use all the advantages of working via VPN. You can fully work with Internet resources that were previously blocked for certain reasons. Anonymity and security of work is provided.

Application operation

After installation, you need to provide a number of permissions and specify the necessary settings. After that, the start page opens, on which there is a large button with the inscription "Power", to activate the VPN mode it is enough to press it and go to the desired site. By default, the country of the intermediate node is selected automatically (you choose the best option from the list). It is possible to select the country manually - this can be useful if the desired site is available only in a certain location. It is possible to purchase a paid application, in which some additional options appear, including removal of the advertising block. At the top left is an icon to access the main menu. There you can access the Smart Proxy section, help, information about the application, and a link to share with friends.

Purpose

The use of VPN infrastructure allows you to bypass blocking, including at the country level. It provides reliable protection from external attacks. The use of modern encryption algorithms allows you to hide data, even when working through public networks. Even if an attacker gets access to them, he will not be able to disclose them. Additionally, information about the IP address and current geolocation of the user's device is hidden. For the end host, the request will come from an intermediate server, with the corresponding IP and location.
