PSX Emulator

PSX Emulator is a software tool capable of emulating the operation of the PlayStation game console from the Japanese company Sony. There are many parameters for detailed customization of the emulation. A large number of entertainment projects from the popular console in the past are supported.

Getting Started

The software is capable of running classic projects from the aforementioned console. Since the computer application does not have a built-in collection of video games, the user has to download them from the network on his own. Video games supported by the free program are stored in images with the following extensions: BIN, CUE, CDZ, ISO and CCD. After adding the desired projects, the user should customize the parameters with which the console game will be launched. For example, the player is able to change the color depth, resolution, shaders, frame rate, filters for 2D video games and so on.

Compatible video games

The computer program is able to enable many console video games, including Earthworm Jim, Silent Hill, Tekken, Digimon World, Pepsiman, and Dynasty Warriors. However, the app has issues with some projects. For example, a user may experience a video game freezing while it is turned on. There may also be problems with the display of text in the main menu, the appearance of graphical artifacts and so on. Some problems can be solved by changing the emulation settings or using a different version of the utility.
