TagScanner

TagScanner is a non-standard Windows application for tag editing and other operations. You can organize convenient storage of user's music, as well as use the metadata editor. It is possible to add artist, direction and other data. There is a built-in player for checking songs.

Importing tracks

After installing and opening the program, you need to select the local directory where the desired music tracks are stored. The panel will display all detected files and suggest further actions. The interface allows you to sort the selection by all available parameters.

Editing

The right part of the window contains the metadata editor. WMA, MP4, ID3v1, APEv2 and other tags are supported. This allows you to cover all modern platforms. It is possible to connect to an external database and get an additional set of data - composer, year of release and so on. It is worth considering that this mode requires access to the Internet. The cover artwork can also be downloaded from the network or you can choose an arbitrary file from the local folder. The function of importing tags to an external file is built-in.

Playlists

The program allows you to create new playlists and save them as files for further use. Such files are correctly recognized by all modern players. At any time you can listen to a track through the built-in player. All necessary controls and additional settings are available. You can activate pause, customize the playback mode, change the volume and much more.
