CanoScan Toolbox

CanoScan Toolbox is the official Windows application for owners of Canon devices. It can be used in conjunction with printers, MFPs or scanners. You can access settings, flexibly manage printing or scanning, and conveniently store the resulting files. It is possible to customize the physical buttons on the body of the device.

Scanning

Launching the program opens the main menu. You can immediately select the operation you need at the moment. Before scanning, you can change the following parameters:

• paper size;
• color scheme;
• resolution (affects the final quality).

Then you can select the file format for saving the result (JPEG, BMP and TIFF extensions are supported). You can save several profiles and quickly switch between them (for example, for ordinary documents and photos). It is possible to specify arbitrary data in the EXIF section. Without leaving the interface the user can quickly send the result of scanning by e-mail.

Printing

Another panel is responsible for the current printing mode. You can select a file in the desired folder, specify the optimal parameters and send it for printing. There is an option to create copies if you use an MFP.

Conversion

You can save multi-page documents in PDF format. In the program settings, you can immediately specify an external application to open such files.
