Captivate

Captivate is a Windows application that allows you to create training courses. The program is often used to record various lectures and demonstrate software features. The built-in converter allows you to create a presentation in Adobe Flash format.

Creating a project

After opening the application, you can start working from scratch or use a suitable template from the catalog. Additionally, you can choose the size of slides and the overall design style. An additional module is designed for creating tests and simulating the behavior of applications. Screen video recording mode with specified settings is built-in. You can specify the resolution, frame rate, and so on.

Editing

While creating a project, you can add images, animations, text blocks and much more. While creating interactive courses, you can add controls with the desired functionality - switches, buttons, and so on. You can use effects from the built-in catalog to transition between slides. It is possible to add links and external media files, including music or voice recordings. After completion, the project should be saved in video format, specifying all the necessary settings. There is a help section that allows you to quickly familiarize yourself with the available tools and features of the program.
