MediaMonkey

MediaMonkey is a Windows computer program responsible for creating playlists and categorizing music songs into groups. There is a player for playing added songs. In addition, the application has a function to connect to radio broadcasting stations.

Playlists

Each time the utility is turned on, it checks the drives for music tracks. After that, a special algorithm based on the analysis of metadata automatically distributes songs according to various criteria. These include:

• Album;
• Composer name;
• Music genre;
• Artist and so on.

The user is also allowed to manually edit selections created by the utility and add new songs. Especially for these purposes in the computer application there is a file manager.

Player and radio

The user can listen to the added songs through the utility. This is possible due to the presence of an audio file player in the program. While using the player, the user is able to pause the playback, adjust the volume, go to the next song and so on. In addition to the above features, the application has a function for connecting and then listening to radio broadcasting stations. In total, the computer utility has collected more than two dozen thousand radio stations. To connect to a station, the user needs to enter its name or use filters to sort the catalog.
