Shikimori App

Shikimori App is a mobile client, the main purpose of which is to search, collect and watch anime online. The base of the application is based on data from the web resource shikimori.org. This version of the utility is designed for portable devices based on Android OS.

Search

The software has a very convenient navigation system. The search is carried out by several tabs:

• anime;
• manga;
• Ranobae;
• character;
• author.

Once the user has decided on a tab, they will be given the option to sort content by a number of criteria:

• rating;
• popularity;
• download date;
• episode and so on;

Additional filters are also available to sort the anime:

• duration;
• genre;
• type;
• status.

Each category contains several sub-items, thanks to which you can find narrowly focused anime. The utility implements a convenient search bar, in which you can specify the name of the author or character, keyword and so on.

Viewing

After a certain work is selected, the user can familiarize himself with information about it:

• description;
• timing;
• release and season number, etc.

The integrated player makes watching anime through the app very convenient. Users can also choose voiceovers from the list of available ones. In most cases, three soundtracks are offered:

• Original;
• Russian;
• English.

As an addition, the activation of subtitles is provided.
