PlayClaw

PlayClaw is a video recording program. With this utility you can record video walkthroughs of computer games or create video tutorials and presentations. PlayClaw is equipped with a lot of functions for recording video stream. The program records gameplay, creates screenshots and shows information about system load in overlay mode.

Most gamers use this program to record computer games. The utility is distributed on a paid basis. You can use Play Claw in demo mode. In the demo version there are a few restrictions, in particular, limited time for recording video and watermark imprints on screenshots. Paid Pro - version of the utility costs 40 dollars.

Basic functionality

Play Claw provides computer game recording, takes screenshots during gameplay. Many gamers create game screenshots to show them to friends and acquaintances. Before using the program, configure the utility and specify the location where your files will be stored. After recording videos and creating screenshots, you can copy the data from the folder with screenshots and video files. Create the folder on your disk, not on your desktop. Game videos are recorded in AVI format, and screenshots are obtained in PNG files. PlayClaw cannot convert files to other formats, so you will have to use a third-party program or file converter. Set up hotkeys to enable video recording and screenshots, so that you don't get distracted by additional settings during the game. By specifying a shortcut key, you can enable recording and screenshots with a single click.

PlayClaw records conversations during game play. During an online game you can record conversations of a team of players through the client. The utility supports recording via Teamspeak or Ventrilo clients. The program displays additional data and includes an overlay with important parameters. You can see the temperature of the processor, video card and the load on these components. In the overlay window you can see the cooler speed, actual FPS, used RAM and other parameters.
