Window Eyes

Window Eyes is an auxiliary program designed to solve the problem of navigating through the operating system for visually impaired or completely blind people. The essence is that the utility voices the text on the screen and names objects when the cursor is placed over them. This makes it possible to control a personal computer even without being able to look at the screen.

Customization

An attractive factor in using the utility is the complete absence of the need to perform any additional settings. Immediately after installation, Window Eyes can start performing its direct function. To do this, the program selects one of the many prepared configurations, after which it begins to voice text and objects with the help of a synthesizer. Note that the voice for voicing can be changed. Initially, the application uses Microsoft Speech Platform. But if you want, you can bind any other synthesizer with the voice you like. Also, the user gets the opportunity to assign timbre and volume, so that operation became as comfortable as possible.

Voicing

One of the additional functions is stated to read the text when you put the cursor over it. Thus, you can read various materials on the Internet through the described application. Another useful feature is the availability of additional key combinations, with which you can manage the settings in the program more quickly and easily. Note that the user can download a version not only for beginners, but also for advanced users (more settings are available).
