Zoiper 5

Zoiper 5 is a Windwos application for VoIP telephony. You can call your friends, organize conferences, support voicemail, and record dialogs to a file. You can create several independent accounts on one device.

Preparing for work

When launching the program for the first time, you need to log in to your personal cabinet or create a new account. During the registration process, it is required to specify the server IP or name. Next, the program will help you configure peripheral equipment and automatically select the appropriate communication protocol. After the configuration stage is completed, the main window of the program will open. The free version has a number of limitations, including the need to enter all new contacts manually. The full version supports importing data from an external file. For each record you can specify e-mail, work and home phone numbers, comments and add a picture.

Calls and conferences

The free version of the service provides the following functions:

• the ability to make voice phone calls;
• detailed statistics of dialogs;
• putting the current call on hold;
• disabling the speaker and microphone during a call.

In the paid version, you can make full-fledged video calls, start conferences, flexibly configure call forwarding, record conversations, and activate data encryption using SRTP, ZRTP or TLS protocols. It is also possible to send text and voice messages, enable answering machine, set personalized melodies and handle several calls simultaneously.
