EPSON Scan

EPSON Scan is the official tool from the manufacturer of the same name to customize the scanning process and other options. It uses a simple and easy-to-use interface, all elements are in Russian, including the menu.

Scanning modes

The application provides three main modes of operation: simple, automatic (the most convenient) and professional. This allows you to cover all the basic needs of modern users. Automatic mode saves the user from the need to work with complex and incomprehensible settings. Can be used to scan simple office documents and home photos, the original size is used. To activate the function of removing dust and scratches, you need to go to the settings and activate the corresponding item. Simple mode allows you to change the basic parameters of the image. After making the settings, you can open the classic preview panel, which allows you to quickly verify their correctness and, if necessary, go back a step to correct them. Professional mode gives access to all settings, including color correction and sharpening.

Settings

All important parameters are collected in the settings menu. You can select the file type, adjust the sharpness, experiment with the color gamut. It is possible to choose the scanning quality. It is worth considering that increasing the resolution noticeably affects the speed of the scanning process and the size of the final file.
