BrazosTweaker

The BrazosTweaker utility provides access to processor control and processor settings for AMD Brazos brand. It is not an official AMD authorization, it was created by third-party developers, so they are not responsible for any problems that may arise in case of improper use. You will have to use the program only at your own discretion, and the risk is also on the user.

Purpose

The most common reason for using BrazosTweaker is the need to lower the voltage that is supplied to the processor cores, as this increases the battery life of the laptop (very often the BRAZOS lineup stands on them). Of course, the payback for lower power consumption will be lower machine performance, however, it will increase battery life by several hours. Working in ordinary, simple office programs or watching low-quality video, in most cases, the user will not notice any changes. Then, the utility becomes incredibly useful, especially on devices with worn-out batteries. Another useful feature of the BrazosTweaker utility is the ability to reduce the noise that is produced by the cooling cooler. Since, the voltage decreases along with the performance, the CPU heats up less, which means that the fan and cooling system reduce the speed, thanks to which the machine starts to run quieter. Also, the back cover that always suffers from overheating will not get as hot as usual. Also, the program will allow you to intentionally lower processor frequencies. This is very important for AMD lineup, despite its performance heating is their strong disadvantage, which has not been fixed yet.

Compatibility

Theoretically, the program can work on the whole AMD BRAZOS line, but the developer himself confirms its 100% compatibility only for Ontario series processors of C-50, 60 and 70 versions, as well as Zacate series of E-350 and 450 brands.
