The PortTool application allows you to quickly gather information about the port to which your GPS device is connected. The collected data can be quickly saved to a notebook for further study. It is also possible to find out details about other nodes, including the processor.

Program Features

The main purpose of the program is to display information about the speed and connection type of the GPS device. Information about other components is also collected - display resolution, OS version, CPU architecture, UUID number. A separate tab displays RAM parameters.

How to use

Some users may encounter problems when launching the program. In most cases this is due to the fact that in the standard shell for navigators the function of launching programs is blocked. If this situation occurs, it is necessary to simply copy the downloaded file to the directory of the previously installed platform. After that you need to rename the file and check the performance - the utility should start correctly and work without fail. To start scanning and collecting information, you should click on the corresponding button and wait for the completion message. Scanning usually takes a few minutes, after which a detailed report will be displayed. The obtained data can be immediately saved to a text file for quick access later.
