FreeSpacer utility for Windows provides the ability to search and erase temporary files. Similar to Clean Space, this program looks for invalid shortcuts, empty directories and other unnecessary items. There is an option to delete contents from the Recycle Bin.

Search

After launching the application, you need to start the search and wait until the scan is complete. Once the scan is complete, a list of unnecessary files will be shown on the display. You can create an exception list before deleting them.

Cleanup

The program makes it possible to remove unnecessary items from the hard drive in one click. To do this, select all the files shown on the display and then click the "Delete" button. Before performing this action, it is advisable to make a backup. The utility allows you to search by mask. It is necessary to go to the "Settings" section and mark the required attributes. There is an option to exclude system and hidden files. The application also allows you to choose the method of deletion. Unnecessary files can be moved to the trash or erased permanently. When the cleaning is complete, the program will show a corresponding message on the display. A separate tab contains the statistics of the application's operation. You can find out data about the total number of detected and erased files.
