MKey

MKey is a Windows application that allows you to assign arbitrary commands to keys and their combinations. It is possible to create and use complex macros and work with profiles. Various types of modern keyboards are supported.

Multimedia

One of the main functions of the program is to ensure the correct operation of multimedia keys, which are used today on many models of keyboards, even in the middle price range. They are intended for convenient control of players (start, pause, switch to another track and so on). The program allows you to quickly assign an arbitrary action to any additional key. This can be useful if it is not possible to install the official drivers from the manufacturer, for example, if the operating system is not supported. At the same time, the application already has a ready set of commands for the most common players. It is enough to select the desired action and assign a convenient key.

Macros

A full-featured macro editor is built in, which allows you to assign not only simple commands, but also complex scenarios with a large number of actions. For recording there is a possibility to use the memorization mode - turn on recording and manually play back the required set of actions. This eliminates the need to manually enter a set of commands. At the end, you will only have to choose a combination to run the script.

Actions

It is possible to assign buttons to perform routine operations, such as launching Explorer, Explorer, Notepad, minimizing all windows, and so on. If you have several users working at your PC, you can create independent profiles and switch between them when you need them.
