AVRDUDE PROG

AVRDUDE PROG application is designed for self-programming of microcontrollers. Various programmers are supported. The utility can be used by novice users - a simple interface in Russian is implemented, all the basic controls are available in the main screen. There is a convenient help section. The basic parameters and definition of the connected module are determined automatically. Before you start working, you need to select and purchase the necessary programmer. USB port is used for connection.

Functional features

After startup, you can immediately select and configure the programmer to be used. It is possible to specify the baud rate and configure other parameters. You can optimize fuses bits. Flashing of popular ATtiny and ATmega chips is supported.

Additional features

During operation the user can change the AVRDUDE_PROG shell - it is implemented as a file with ini extension. The atmel.ini file allows to configure the mode of interaction with fuses bits. Viewing of ports and the list of supported programmers is available in the programm.ini file, if necessary, you can manually add a new device. The language.ini component allows you to edit the shell mode by changing the text description and adding new language packs. When flashing microcontrollers it is recommended to specify a speed four times less than the chip clock frequency.
