SMRecorder

SMRecorder is a Windows application for recording screen video and broadcasting from a camera. You can select video and audio quality and add comments. There is a built-in player for viewing the created video.

Recording

After opening the program, you will see a panel of recording settings. You can select an arbitrary capture area, specify the active window or the entire screen. The program supports recording from external microphones, it is also possible to activate the option to record system notifications. Additionally, you can specify the volume level, number of channels, bitrate, delay and a number of other parameters. External devices are automatically detected by the program, no complicated settings are required for connection. For video, you need to specify the frame rate, quality, and save directory of the final file. It is possible to limit the recording duration. These parameters allow you to immediately optimize the video for certain platforms or devices. For example, for uploading to a social network. Hotkeys for sending basic commands are supported. At the final stage, there is an option to add text notes. All necessary settings are available for the text block - font, location, alignment, color, additional effects and others.

Saving

A built-in player is implemented, which allows you to view the resulting clip at the editing stage. MP4 and AVI extensions can be used for saving. There is a built-in function to extract the audio track for saving as a separate file.
