Safe YOU is an Android app for women who find themselves in a dangerous situation, allowing them to quickly call for help by sending an SMS with their location.

Profile creation

In the process of testing, it turned out that the app operates on the territory of three countries: Armenia, Georgia and Iran. Users from these territories have the opportunity to choose the interface language available in each of these countries. To register in the application, the following information must be provided: first name, last name, date of birth, marital status and cell phone number. These data help to confirm the user's identity and ensure the security of his account. In addition, the application has a function of hiding among other files and programs on the smartphone. This keeps the fact of using the application secret from potential aggressors or detractors who may have an interest in the user or their actions.

Application

The app has the option to add up to seven contacts to the emergency list. This can include the police, an organization dedicated to protecting women from violence, relatives and other contacts. If you are in a dangerous situation, just press the SOS button, similar to the 102 Kazakhstan program, and the app will automatically send a message with your geolocation to the selected numbers. An important feature of the application is the ability to make a hidden audio recording of events in the background. Recorded events can be listened to, deleted or used as evidence in investigation and court.

Consultations

The mobile application provides an internal anonymous forum where female users can get advice and support from specialists in various fields. Consultants, in turn, are marked on the forum with icons corresponding to their profession - doctors, psychologists or lawyers. The application is not limited to providing advice and support. It also provides information on nearby organizations that work to protect women from violent behavior and provide support in difficult circumstances. In this way, users can access the services and procedural assistance they need if they find themselves in a difficult situation.
