OSFMount

OSFMount is a disk drive emulator that runs on laptops and desktops running Windows 7 or later. With the program, users are able to work with virtual images in many formats, including AFF, NRG, AFM and ISO. The utility does not have Russian-language localization. There is functionality for forming RAM disks.

Key features

The application gives the ability to work with images. Therefore, the user needs first of all to add a virtual disk with one of the supported extensions to the computer utility. Among them: SDI, AFM, ISO, ISO, BIN, AFF, MDF, ING and so on. At the same time, the application offers the user a choice. He can either mount the entire image or a separate part of it. The computer program is able to work with many virtual images at once. All disks added to the utility are shown on the start page in the form of a list. If desired, the user can remove any of the loaded images from the list. The user is able to manually configure the type of virtual disk drive and emulation method. In addition, the computer application allows you to block editing of virtual images. This mode is called "read-only" mode.

RAM disks

In addition to the basic functionality, the computer utility has a tool for forming RAM disks. Their essence is that the data loaded in such an image is stored in the RAM of a personal computer or laptop. Thanks to this user can more quickly access the contents of such disks. However, with a small amount of RAM, this function can heavily load the device.
