Photo Sherlock

Photo Sherlock is an Android application that allows you to search for photos that are similar in certain ways to the original file. At the preparation stage, the utility analyzes the image, recognizes the main objects and faces. Public pages in social networks and standard websites are used for the search.

Camera and gallery

After installation, the program must be given access to the gallery and the regular camera to be able to take pictures. When you create a new photo, the application interface displays basic camera controls. Regardless of the source of the photo, there are tools for processing. In particular, the picture can be rotated in the desired direction and cropped for better recognition. To speed up the work, the application automatically reduces the original image. This has almost no effect on the result, but it allows you to speed up the search process.

Search procedure

A full browser is integrated for easy navigation between pages used for searches. Several search engines are used to collect results. The platform can be used to quickly determine the reality of a photo, whether the profile is authentic or an alien image is used. The functionality can also be used to search for descriptions of items and goods, fix the theft of personal photos, and find similar images in higher resolution. The developers provided a paid version of the program, in which the user receives a number of additional options. The advertising block is disabled and support for external browsers for downloading found files is added.
