Call Control

Call Control is an Android application for blocking unwanted calls. A publicly available database formed by enthusiasts from all over the world is used for identification. The list includes scammers, advertising offers and other unwanted calls. Standard functionality for making outgoing calls and working with the contact list is also available.

Navigation

After installation, the program requests a number of permissions, including the function of making calls. In the smartphone settings, the program should be selected as the default tool. The start page displays a list of recent calls. Swipe left activates the panel with messages from the community - users pass the numbers of scammers and spammers. To share a new number, you need to click on the plus icon, specify the number and comment. The next page allows you to customize your personal blacklist and change the basic settings of the application.

Defining numbers

The program uses an open database, which is kept up to date by enthusiasts. After registration, community users create their own blacklists, which are automatically collected by the service. This scheme ensures fast data collection and keeps the database up to date. To access the community, you need to register a personal account. You can create an account on the basis of e-mail, as well as use the function of quick login via Facebook or Google in this case, a number of additional features appear - correspondence with other users, contacting developers and so on.

Additional features

The application correctly blocks calls that come through the second line. You can use templates to specify the blocking number, for example, blocking by city code. Built-in "Do not disturb" mode, which can be configured for the desired time, supports the creation of fairly complex schedules, for example, for studies.
