RS Office Recovery is a Windows utility that allows you to recover damaged or deleted documents. All types of drives are supported, including external drives. The program is originally designed to work with office documents, which makes it more effective in this area. During the scanning process, the program searches for text files, presentations and spreadsheets. All the necessary functions are provided to find the necessary files and restore them to their original form.

Search

After launching it is necessary to select the media to be scanned and the type of scanning in the main window. Both fast and deep search are supported. In the latter case, the operation takes much longer, but the probability of recovering the file in its original form is higher. Further, you can specify additional filters for searching files, which speeds up the work considerably. You can specify the size, extension, creation date, and other parameters. For large drives, it is better to specify this parameter, because otherwise the scan may take a very long time.

Analysis and recovery

After selecting the required set of parameters you should start the file search and wait for the result. The final report will contain a list of all found files. It is possible to sort the selection by certain parameters - creation date, alphabet, extension and so on. A preview module is provided. To restore files, select the necessary files in the table and press the corresponding button. It is possible to add files to an archive or upload them to an FTP server.
