CheckUDisk

CheckUDisk is a utility for displaying technical specifications and information about peripheral media (flash drives and USB drives). The program scans the device and provides a report about the USB-device.

Features

Portable program CheckUDisk is created in a simple shell and works on a free basis. Connect your external hard drive or flash drive to your computer, then download the program and open it. CheckUDisk checks your system and displays information about the connected device. If you have connected several devices - the utility will check all of them one by one. Check "All USB Devices" and wait for the program to check all drives. Switch between windows and view data about each device. The full characterization of the drives is displayed for all flash drives checked.

Technical information displayed by the utility:

• The name of the connected device;
• VID and PID - these are the device software parameters;
• the speed of the drive and information about it;
• detailed information about the creator of the device;
• serial number and technical data about the device firmware creation date;
• developer and product identification data (VendorID, ProductIP);
• product version and other registration data;
• disk statistics - its volume and volume name letter;

Usage

CheckUDisk is downloaded to solve some problems with the device. Use this utility to view the technical parameters of flash drives or to simply view data about the media. In problem cases, when you need a program to view data about the device CheckUDisk fits right in. Using this program, you will restore a "broken" device and will not lose information on it. If the device cannot be recovered in the usual way, this program is suitable for complete data deletion (formatting). An alternative utility for "restoring" a flash drive - EzRecover , but it does not always solve the problem from different device models and other access problems.
