Hikka

Hikka is an application for Winows OS that allows you to find logins and passwords from IP cameras, different manufacturers are supported. To start the search it is enough to specify a range of ports and addresses, the main work is performed automatically. To gain access, the classic bruteforce (selection of data for authorization using a special template) is used. In case of success, the user is able to watch the current broadcast from the camera.

Preparation

The primary configuration consists of specifying a list of ranges. To select these parameters, you can use third-party software or specialized services. The information can be specified manually or use the import function from a text file. The scanner will start the check and then display the result in a convenient format on the screen.

Bruteforce

The application does not have a graphical interface, but the set of settings is minimal, which allows even inexperienced users to understand it. The previously generated list of IP addresses should be placed in the host file, then run the start.bat script with administrator rights. The application sequentially traverses the found devices, trying to find a login-password pair for each one. If authorization is successful, the information is stored in the pics folder for further reporting. To access the camera, another application must be downloaded, such as iVMS 4200. Using the data for access and authorization, such programs allow quick access to the broadcast. Developers note that the created program is intended solely for testing the level of security in real conditions. It is forbidden to use for real hacking of other people's devices.
