Power Button to Volume

Power Button to Volume is an Android program designed for phones with non-working power key. Customers can change the purpose of the volume key so that it performs the option of the power key and gives the ability to unlock the phone.

Installation and uninstallation

Before starting, clients need to give the program some number of permissions, including access to admin rights. You can't exclude this, because it is these permissions that allow the program to control the display lock. In other words, by excluding this action, clients will not be able to fully use the program. In a situation where the desire to use the program has disappeared, it can not be removed by the usual method. To do this, you need to go into the settings, write in the search "Device Administrators" and delete the program from the open list of programs. After this action, you can uninstall the program in the usual way without any obstacles. A warning that the program needs administrator rights is shown on the display of the mobile device. But, according to the creators, customers most often do not read it and encounter problems when uninstalling the program.

Functionality

After the program starts, only one menu is shown to the clients. This shows the state of the program operation:

• Not running state - Volume Power is currently disabled;
• Started state - Volume Power is currently enabled.

In addition, there is a possibility to run two options, one of which gives the ability to open the program when starting the phone (boot), and the second one gives the ability to lock the display with the help of the notification window (screen off).
