Photo Mechanic

Photo Mechanic is a Windows application designed to organize the storage of photos on your PC or external drive. There is a built-in image editor with necessary tools. You can sort files by various parameters, batch processing mode is supported. All major extensions are recognized, including RAW files. There is a tool for viewing and editing metadata.

Viewing and sorting

The first time you run the program, it will scan all available drives to find supported files. JPG, BMP, PNG and other files are automatically recognized. You can manually specify a directory with RAW images. Files can be sorted by size, name, creation date, resolution and other parameters. The display mode is available as a list or a set of thumbnails. A multifunctional search mode is provided.

Editing

You can change any photo metadata, including keyword set and title, through the application. It is possible to adjust the current color scheme. It is possible to cut out a certain area or expand the picture to a desired angle. Most of the functions are available in batch mode, which allows you to quickly process a large number of images without wasting time working with each file. It should be taken into account that by default a trial version of the software is loaded, which has a number of limitations. To get access to all functions, you need to purchase a license.
