AR Plan 3D

AR Plan 3D is an Android application that functions in the virtual ruler mode. It uses AR technology (short for Augmented Reality), which allows you to quickly determine the basic parameters of the room - height, width, area and so on - using the standard camera. In the settings you can specify the units of measurement.

Measurements and plans

The built-in algorithm allows you to measure in space and fix reference points. A special algorithm, based on AR technology, is able to perform full-fledged measurements based on the information from the camera. The following modes are available:

• obtaining a volumetric plan with basic measurements;
• wall measurements in 2D mode (side view);
• measurement of wall or floor area, perimeter and other parameters;
• measurement of doors and windows.

Possibilities allow to create plans of arbitrary premises with sufficient accuracy. It can be used in preparation for large-scale renovation. The obtained data can be used to calculate the number of rolls of wallpaper and other materials.

Saving

All results are saved in memory, it is possible to display them in a convenient form. It can be a classic table or a full-fledged plan of the room with all measurements. It is possible to send an array of data via e-mail or messenger.

Extras

The list of units of measurement is extensive: centimeters, millimeters, meters, feet, inches, feet and yards. There are options that are activated after a paid subscription. In particular, it is possible to create a structured archive if different rooms are measured.
