FAST Speed Test

FAST Speed Test - Android application for testing current internet speed. Supports Wi-Fi based internet and via mobile operator.

Interface

The application uses a very simple interface, the number of settings is minimal. Testing is performed in automatic mode. It is possible to change the interface language using the drop-down list. There are 12 languages available, but Russian is not on the list. However, there are no difficulties, all the controls are accompanied by clear icons and are located quite logically.

Measurements

The current access speed is automatically displayed on the start page of the program. The data is displayed in real time, all current changes are shown on the panel. To get a detailed report, you should press the "More Info" button. The following data are available:

• average ping;
• incoming and outgoing speed;
• access delay;
• information about the server, including IP.

Settings

The settings panel allows you to change the testing mode. It is possible to specify the duration of testing and the number of parallel connections. Long testing will allow you to record rare speed drops. The mode of displaying the report - full or brief - is separately configurable. The number of parallel connections allows you to increase the load, which can also be useful.

Optional

These parameters are often needed by users who stream broadcasts or play modern online games. When the speed is low or the ping is high, various artifacts and connection drops may occur. The game can be uncomfortable, as the character's reaction may be slowed down. It is worth noting that the developers do not use advertising blocks in the interface, although this is often practiced among programs of this type.
