iuVCS

iuVCS is a useful Windows application for self-recording video from external devices. To work with the program you need to connect a TV tuner or video capture board. You can create several profiles for different devices beforehand. The program supports Microsoft DirectShow technology, which allows you to record simultaneously with viewing.

Recording

Once launched, the utility automatically searches for and recognizes supported devices. The equipment is displayed in a list format, you can select the desired one. Synchronization occurs automatically, installation of additional software or complex settings are not required. The available functionality allows you to digitize video tapes without complex equipment, record live broadcasts and much more. Before recording, you can customize the operating mode and select the video format. For convenience, you can immediately create several ready-made sets of parameters for different situations. There is a built-in timer for automatic shutdown of the device.

Tools

There is a built-in scheduler that allows you to record broadcasts without user intervention. It is enough to specify the beginning and end of the recording. You can adjust saturation, brightness and other parameters, as well as use ready-made filters from the catalog. You can forcibly limit the size of the final file, as well as activate the option of automatic termination in the absence of signal.

Statistics

A separate panel allows you to view information about frame capture statistics, including the number of missed frames. Information about the processor load is collected, you can find out the recording duration and the size of the resulting file.
