XVI32

XVI32 is a Windows application that is a classic hex editor. You can search and edit individual bits. There is a built-in data inspector and an interrupt function. Files up to 2 gigabytes can be opened, which noticeably extends the scope of use.

Editor

To access the functionality, you do not need to install the program on your PC, just unzip the archive and run the file. After opening, you need to select the data to open in the editor through the explorer. All file types are supported, including EXE. The working area consists of two sections. The right section displays the hexadecimal representation, the left section displays the normal representation. The window size and the available number of lines can be changed. For convenience, the cursors are synchronized. This allows you to better navigate through the loaded dataset.

A convenient data inspector is built in, which allows you to represent the content in binary code. To keep the code safe, you can load the file in read mode. This eliminates the possibility of accidentally deleting some data and damaging the original file structure. There is a function to interrupt the operation during execution. The settings of the working area, including the size, are saved during the next program launches. There is a help section that allows you to quickly learn a new editor and avoid possible mistakes.
