XRECODE

XRECODE is a Windows computer utility that allows users to convert audio files to other formats. There is a special tool for obtaining tracks with audio from video clips. There is a Russian version of the interface. Allows you to edit the metadata of files. There is a function for normalizing sound in audio recordings.

Adding files

The first thing a person has to do is to upload the audio files he needs to the application. For this purpose, the developers added support for two methods of adding content. The first gives the opportunity to move the icon of the audio file to the working area of the application. The second method involves manually entering the path to the content storage location. It should be noted that the utility can work not only with audio files. When adding a video clip to the program, the user will be able to extract the audio track from it. However, the other functions of the utility work only with audio files.

Conversion

After adding all the files you need, you will be left to choose the final extension. The application can convert audio to the following formats: WAV, MP3, OGG, ALAC, ALAC, AIFF, FLAC and many others. Also, before conversion, the user is able to adjust the bitrate, sound quality and so on. Among other things, you can normalize the volume of audio materials. When adding a large number of audio files to the utility at once, a person can use the option to convert them into a single collection with the extension M3U. Thanks to this, it is possible to create a playlist for different players.

Optional

The utility allows you to change the metadata of added files. Among other things, you can edit the names of music tracks. You can also work with album artwork.
