EAGLE Security

EAGLE Security is a mobile application for the Android platform designed to reliably protect your smartphone from eavesdropping. Its main functions are to detect and prevent two methods of accessing sensitive data from correspondence and conversations: spyware detection and base station spoofing prevention.

Permissions

The permissions the utility asks for include access to the mobile device's location data and its system settings, similar to DU Speed Buster.

Features

On the main page of the application, the user can see the results of the network scan. This displays the nearest base stations and provides cell and signal parameters. Below is a list of base stations whose coverage area the user has been in recently. It is possible to view the data on the map, but this requires GPS navigation to be enabled. The application will analyze the coverage situation and show the percentage probability of listening.

Menu

The application menu is accessed through a button located in the top left corner of the screen. The menu allows you to scan applications on your smartphone to check the permissions they have received. A filter allows you to display utilities that have access to, for example, the microphone, contacts or location. From the menu, you can also block camera and microphone access for suspicious apps. The menu also provides a FAQ section that helps the user to properly configure EAGLE Security.
