Camera Assistant

Camera Assistant is an Android utility for adding new features and fine-tuning the OEM camera on Samsung devices. The utility is initially part of the Good Lock package. You can select the optimal shooting mode, correct blur, remove artifacts and use other filters. Additional settings are provided.

Capture mode

The application allows you to deactivate the HDR mode and select the desired softening parameters. This allows you to further smooth out rough edges and various artifacts that often occur when shooting moving objects. In standard mode, the standard camera is not always able to cope with shooting in difficult conditions. Also, the application is able to automatically select the optimal lens parameters taking into account the lighting mode, distance to the object and other factors. Another useful mode is Quick Shot. It provides an opportunity to noticeably speed up the shooting process by forcibly reducing the number of frames taken. It is also recommended to use it when shooting moving objects, as the quality is noticeably improved.

Video Recording

The function of activating video recording by pressing the shutter button when in the camera mode is implemented. It is convenient if you need to quickly switch the mode, for example, to capture an interesting moment. It is possible to select the number of frames that will be automatically captured by the device after a specified period. The mode of connecting a smartphone to an external display has been improved. In particular, you can automatically remove all the service elements of the interface from the screen, which makes the viewing process more convenient.

Compatibility

It is important to take into account that the utility works correctly only on devices of the Galaxy S22 series, which use the One UI 5 shell.
