Bred 3 is a free Windows editor for working with text format documents. The utility acts as an alternative to Notepad pre-installed on computers and laptops. There is a function for quickly finding specific phrases and words in the text. It also allows you to open and modify program code.

Formats

A feature of the computer utility is the ability to open documents of many different formats. These include: REG, CS, CPP, TXT, TXT, PAS, ASM, HTML, INI, BAT and so on. Thanks to the extensive number of supported extensions, the user can use the utility to open program code for viewing and further editing.

Functionality

Since the program is a text editor, a person can type words. In addition, the application allows you to manually customize the font type and character size. At the bottom of the working window, the user can find some information about the text document, including the number of lines and words. When working with voluminous text, it can be difficult for a person to find specific fragments. That's why the creators of the editor added a function to search for phrases and words. It is enough to enter any text in the built-in search engine, and the program will show the available matches. The editor has tools for changing the encoding, deleting text segments, canceling the last action and much more. After finishing work on the document, a person is allowed to independently determine the extension that the file will have. Among other things, it is allowed to change the format.
