WinToHDD

WinToHDD is a Windows application for reinstalling your system without a bootable disk. In this mode, all necessary files are copied to a special volume created on the hard disk. There is also a function to create familiar bootable flash drives.

Reinstallation

If there is a need to reinstall the system, you need to launch the application and select the appropriate item in the menu. On the next step, you need to specify the path to the operating system image in ISO format. It is possible to download files directly from an optical disk. Next, the program will proceed to creating an additional partition on the drive for storing files. The volume will be used to store the original files, which will allow you to eliminate the need for an external drive. It is recommended to use a hard disk on which the operating system is not installed. This will avoid possible errors during the installation process and ensure a correct installation.

Installation media

A separate section of the program contains tools for creating a bootable USB drive. Multiboot mode is supported - several images can be loaded onto one drive. This allows you to select the necessary file to continue at the initial stage of work. It is worth remembering that in the process of preparing the disk, it is formatted with all data destroyed. It is recommended to check the contents and, if necessary, make a copy of important data.

Cloning

The application allows you to make a full copy of the OS for transferring it to another hard disk. This mode can be used to deploy the system on a large number of similar PCs. In this case, the entire installation will take much less time.
