NOOK

NOOK is an application for the Android platform that allows you to read e-books. It provides access to an extensive catalog from the major publisher Barnes and Noble. The library contains more than 4 million magazines, books and novels, the content is mainly in English. It is possible to create your own selection for quick access.

Authorization

To access the program features you need to create a NOOK account beforehand, e-mail is used as a login. Only after authorization is granted full access to the catalog.

Searching and reading books

The application's start page displays the personal library, which contains the books previously selected by the user. Swipe to the left activates the main catalog tab. All the basic tools for convenient book search are provided - a set of sections, search form, sorting and a set of filters. It should be noted that the program supports only Barnes and Noble products, you can't download third-party books. The next tab allows you to access the reader to read the selected book. A large number of settings are provided. You can change the brightness, font, text size and more. This will allow you to adapt the text to the parameters of the screen and external lighting conditions. There is a function for creating bookmarks, which are displayed in a separate tab. After selecting a book, it is downloaded to the device as a standard file, which allows you to read without access to the network. In the settings, you can activate integration with the cloud catalog, in this case there is an opportunity to free up space on the device. A separate tab contains comments and feedback from users.
