Celtx

Celtx is a Windows application for working on scripts for concerts, movies, and short stories. You can edit scenes added to the interface and adjust the list of characters for the storyline. You can create your own templates and use the collaborative mode.

Scripts

At the initial stage of work it is necessary to choose a suitable template from the menu, which facilitates the work. It is possible to create and add your own layouts to the catalog, which is convenient for frequent work on one-type projects. The initial stage of work will be shortened, since the main parameters will already be loaded in the interface. The application allows you to create scenarios for different art directions, as well as comics for different age categories. Generally accepted standards are used for the design of the project, which allows you to quickly master the work of the application. There is a built-in scheduler that allows you to plan your work in advance using a set of tasks. You can immediately outline a work plan and stick to it in order to meet the lines, which is important when working in the commercial sphere. Separate modules are designed to work with scenes and a list of characters. The program allows you to create full-fledged comics from a ready set of images. For convenience, all available media files are grouped into categories, which allows you to quickly find the necessary content through the internal catalog.

Collaboration

In the settings, you can activate and configure a connection to cloud storage (integration with different platforms is supported), which can be used to store scripts. This allows access from another device or organizing shared access to the project. Other users can fully edit texts and leave comments for other participants. A mechanism of access differentiation is provided. This option also avoids losing files in case of problems with the device. There is a built-in help section that allows you to find the desired function and its description. There are useful materials, interface description and recommendations. For novice users, this will be enough to start creating.
