MiniTool Partition Wizard

MiniTool Partition Wizard program is designed to recover and edit hard drive partitions. It provides formatting, cloning and merging functions.

Merging disks

To merge disks using this utility, you need to right-click on the first volume, for example, on the C drive. Then in the context menu that appears, you should select Merge. In the second window, you should also select the first partition, after which you should click on the "Next" button and specify the volume with which you want to merge. If desired, you can specify the name of the directory. The user is offered two merge options. After selecting one of them, you should press the Finish button. To make the changes take effect, you should click Apply. As a result, two partitions will be made into one.

Magnifying and partitioning a disk

To increase the partition, right-click on the letter of the disk that can be reduced in size, for example, the letter D. When the window opens, the user should select Move/Resize and change the volume partition so that the unallocated data is on the left side. Then you should click on the OK button. Next, right-click on the disk whose size is to be increased. In the example above, it is C. In the list that opens, select the Move/Resize option and click Apply. The Split tool is intended for splitting the disk. After adjusting the values according to your needs, you should apply the changes made by clicking the Apply button. Finally, you should restart Windows.
