IsMyLcdOK

IsMyLcdOK - Windows application for matrix diagnostics in LCD monitors. It is possible to quickly find broken pixels, it is possible to test a certain color. Switching can be done using the keyboard.

Working principle

The program contains a special set of basic shades, which allows you to visually find dysfunctional points. It is also possible to output a gradient, colored stripes or a moving object. In the process of outputting the image, the user needs to carefully inspect the screen surface to find points that are different in color from the rest. With a solid color fill, this is much easier to do. In modern monitors and laptops, this problem is relatively rare. It can be both a factory defect and natural wear and tear during prolonged operation. In the process of work, it is not always possible to notice this defect, since it can manifest itself on a certain color.

Diagnostics

The utility is portable, installation is not required. After launching, the main panel with a brief instruction on how to work is displayed. Below there is a set of buttons that correspond to colors, after pressing the corresponding test is launched. Available shades are:

• blue;
• white;
• green;
• red;
• blue;
• purple;
• black;
• yellow.

In the settings, you can activate color change at a specified interval. You can use specific keys on the keypad to switch colors manually. Diagnostics can be terminated by pressing the Esc key. A complete list of available combinations and operating instructions can be found in the help section.
