Houdini

Houdini is an application for Windows platform that allows you to create three-dimensional models, including quite complex projects. The main work is done in a convenient visual environment, it is possible to create animations and add various special effects. For realism, you can add and customize lighting sources. The platform is actively used for testing game elements and simulating real physical effects.

Graphic editor

After launching the application, the main visual programming environment opens, which, based on editing simple elements, allows you to create complex objects. Cubes, spheres and other shapes are available on the toolbar, which can be used as an initial template. You can switch to polygonal mode or use drawing tools. There is a mode of working with particles, which allows you to create interesting special effects - fire, fog, rain and so on. Scenes can be edited independently and several frames can be glued together.

Physical modeling

Another popular feature is the simulation of interaction between two objects, taking into account the laws of physics. You can visualize the activity of liquids and gases, reproduce realistic dissolution of an object in a liquid, and much more.

Programming

All elementary actions, effects and operations can be represented as standard program code. The format used is one in which all operators are represented as separate classes that provide processing of a graphical or textual data set. It is possible to generate scripts and complex scenarios.
