iPhone Backup Extractor

iPhone Backup Extractor is a Windows application that allows you to browse backups and extract arbitrary files. Only Apple mobile devices are supported. You can quickly extract notes, contact lists, call logs and more. There is a built-in file converter that allows you to save the extracted content in a convenient way. This allows you to use third-party apps for viewing.

Data Search

When you first launch the app, it will automatically scan your local drives to find all available backups (created using iCloud or iTunes). All supported files will be displayed on the left side of the window. You can manually specify the path to the desired archive to get started right away.

Preview

The program immediately displays information about the date of creation, the size of the backup, and the total number of files. Information about the mobile device is also displayed, which makes navigation easier. Separate tools allow you to view the following types of files:

• photos;
• calls and contacts;
• user notes;
• calendar content;
• voice memos;
• messenger content.

Extraction

Another useful feature is quick extraction of a certain set of data with conversion into a convenient format. For example, you can unload contacts into VCard or the more universal CSV format without restoring the entire archive. In the latter case, you can use various applications, such as table editors, to open them. Messages can be saved as PDF or plain text files. It is possible to initiate a full backup restore.
