PTGui is a Windows application that allows you to create panoramic images from an original set of photos. It supports automatic brightness correction to smooth sharp transitions. In the program you can use simple and professional editing mode. In the latter case, additional features are available. There is a function of automatic gluing, in which the program determines the places of overlap with the help of a built-in algorithm. It is possible to customize the shooting parameters manually.

Creating a panorama

Beginners can use the simplified mode, which involves step-by-step work. At the first step, you need to select a series of shots, specify the necessary camera parameters, including the size of the main sensor, diagonal and focal length. There is a built-in catalog of popular devices, which allows you to quickly download all the main characteristics. Next, the system will analyze the images and form a set of control points to be used at the matching stage. The user can correct them - add their own or delete them. The original image can be quickly cropped. In the process of work there is an opportunity to activate the preview mode, which allows you to immediately evaluate the result. In the settings you can change the type of projection - circular, cylindrical and others.

Editing

A separate panel is responsible for fine-tuning the photo. You can change the white balance, exposure, adjust the brightness. It is possible to create and save templates for use in other projects. This significantly speeds up processing. Metadata editor is provided. You can manually specify coordinates or load information from source files.
