BelScan

BelScan is an Android application for self-checking manufacturers in the Republic of Belarus. The project is supported by the opposition and allows finding people and companies that support the country's authorities.

Scanner

There is a built-in scanner for verification, which allows you to check the barcode using the regular camera. Products can be checked directly in the store before purchase. After pointing the camera, the utility automatically recognizes the desired area, extracts the code, identifies the manufacturer and searches the database. Information about the manufacturer and its position to the authorities is displayed. A separate tab displays information about officials. It is possible to save information to a file for further study and analysis. It is possible to search for information by company name. It is enough to enter it in the appropriate field. The catalog is divided into categories - gas stations, hotels, products, medicine and so on. When a match is found, all available information is displayed. It is worth considering that the program gives priority to foreign companies, since they do not help the current government by default.

Dossier

It is possible to read the biographies of major government officials. You can use the last name, phone number or full position to search for them. Different categories are also available - journalists, judges, law enforcers, officials, and so on. It is important to remember that such a file may contain personal information. For example, it can be a car number, address, information about the family and so on. Its distribution is a violation of the law, which can lead to negative consequences. A separate tab contains various useful information. There are publications and a selection of links to useful resources. The database used is actively filled with enthusiasts. There is an opportunity to contact the developers. The form can be used if an inaccuracy is found or it is necessary to add an object to the catalog. It is also possible to send wishes for the improvement of the platform.
