AllDup

AllDup is a free program that can be used to remove copies of various content, including videos, text and images. You can search for data by content, title and other criteria. There is Russian localization. You can run the program on Windows devices starting from XP version.

Search for duplicates

The utility is able to find identical files. To do this, the user needs to launch the application and select the drives on which the search will be conducted. If desired, you can limit yourself to individual folders on the media. In order for the program to understand what data it should search for, the user needs to configure the comparison criteria. For example, the user can activate the search for files with the same extension and content. It is also possible to specify a specific data size, name and so on in the filters. A person is allowed to create a list of exceptions. The computer program will not compare the files in such a list. Consequently, the user will not see them in the search results.

Deletion

At the end of the comparison procedure, the program will provide the person with a list of detected matches. At this stage, the user can choose what to do with the found files. The utility allows you to completely erase such data from the drive, send it to the trash or ignore it. If desired, a person can save the comparison results as a separate document. After that, such a file can be printed on the appropriate equipment.
